The Journey
I didn't start with a plan to become a web developer. I started with curiosity — a genuine interest in how things on the internet were made, and why some websites felt good to use while others felt like a struggle. That curiosity turned into learning, and that learning turned into PeacemakerDev.
Growing up in South Africa, I saw how many small businesses and individuals had real potential but no digital presence to show for it. Photographers with incredible work and no website. Farmers with quality products and no way to reach new customers. Business owners ready to grow but stuck with a Facebook page as their only online footprint.
That gap was the opportunity. I started building — first for practice, then for real clients. Every project taught me something new, not just about code but about what people actually need from a website. Not the flashiest site. Not the most complex one. The one that works, represents them well, and gets results.
PeacemakerDev is built on that foundation. Clean work, honest pricing, and a genuine commitment to delivering something the client is proud to share.

Where I'm headed.
PeacemakerDev is still growing — and that's intentional. I'm not trying to be everything to everyone. I'm focused on becoming the most reliable web development option for small and medium businesses in South Africa.
In the short term that means continuing to deliver high quality work for every client, building a stronger portfolio, and expanding my technical skills into areas like backend development, CMS integration, and more advanced e-commerce solutions.
Long term, I see PeacemakerDev growing into a full digital solutions studio — a team that can handle everything from design and development to hosting, maintenance, and digital strategy for South African businesses at every stage of growth.
Every project I take on today is a step toward that. Every client I deliver for is proof that it's possible.

I'm constantly expanding — currently deepening my knowledge in backend development, exploring new programming languages, and learning how AI is changing the way we build for the web. The tech world moves fast and I move with it.
